Sparkle has presented a new custom graphics card built on NVIDIA Fermi. Calibre X480 uses the flagship GeForce GTX 480 as the base and not only has a more powerful cooler from Arctic Cooling but also a fuse function.
Sparkle Calibre X480 comes with 752 MHz GPU frequency where the GF100 chip has 480 CUDA cores have been moved up to 1504 MHz. The 1.5GB GDDR5 graphics memory has an efficient clock frequency of 3800 MHz.
Sparkle’s Fuse Function technology is a new tech that will minimize risk for damages due to unstable voltages in the circuit board. Something that in the end will result in improved stability. Arctic Cooling’s Accelero Xtreme heatsink will of course help there too.
The graphics card of course brings DirectX 11, dual DVI outputs and one mini-HDMI output.
