Component manufacturer Gigabyte has worked over AMD’s Radeon HD 5770 and launched the first, as far as we know, completely passive card with this GPU. Gigabyte GV-R577SL-1GD comes with a massive Silent Cell heatsink and Ultra Durable design.
How well Gigabyte managed to tame the 100 watt that Radeon HD 5770 develops remains to be seen, but the Silent Cell looks pretty big.
The graphics card ships with stock clocks of 850 MHz GPU and 4800 MHz memory. Gigabyte GV-R577SL-1GD supports, as it should, DirectX 11, Eyefinity and has DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs.
