NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 models with higher clock frequencies and better performance are appearing everywhere, but Galaxy’s European brand KFA2 has now launched a card that instead focuses on delicate component choices and lowering power consumption while maintaining performance.
KFA2 GeForce GTX 460 Green Edition most of all has only one 6-pin PCIe power connector. This was made possible by lowering the overall power consumption by 10% from the NVIDIA reference model.
KFA2 uses an optimixed circuit board with high quality components that doesn’t suffer from the same power losses as the reference. The card has the same clock frequencies as the reference card; 650/1350/3600 MHz and the only thing that makes it special is the green attitude. KF2A says that the lower power consumption results in lower temperatures and less noise, which makes sense.
