Finnish developers Futuremark have announced that its next test suit 3DMark 11 will be delayed. The launch was set to November 30th – tomorrow – but has now been postponed to an undetermined date.
The only hints we have received of a new launch date is that it can take everything from a day to a week, but nothing has been decided. The delay comes after Futuremark chose to solve a number of bugs before the launch, instead of releasing an update shortly after launch. A wise decision in our oppinion.
3DMark 11 is a test suit that measures the performance of your PC and focuses on the graphics card. 3DMark 11 will require a graphics card that supports DirectX 11 and Windows 7 or Vista operating system.
