Corsair adds 90GB and 180GB models to Force SSD family

Corsair has announced two new models to the Force series of SSDs. Corsair Force F90 and F180 are both based on SandForce SF-1200 and this makes them good choices for a system drive. With 90GB and 180GB capacity it adds more options for consumers.

Corsair has become one of SandForce’s most reliable customers and already has a wide assortment of SSDs in the Force series. From the minor F40 at 40GB to F240 with 240GB capacity. Between these models there are models with 80GB, 120GB and 160GB capacity. This has now been expanded with the new models at 90GB and 180GB.

The performance specifications are top notch with 285 MB/s read speed and 275 MB/s write speed. Corsair also offers 50,000 IOPS at random write of 4K files. The format is of course 2.5″ and connects through the SATA 3.0 Gbps interface. They support TRIM in Windows 7 and is covered by 3 year warranty.
