Corsair has more to offer than just memory modules and SSDs, and its Obsidian cases are certainly worthy of the company. The Obsidian series has been praised by consumers and reviewers and it now has a new member, Corsair Obsidian 650D.

Corsair Obsidian 650D may be the smallest of the series, but it still pretty spacious. The measurements are 546mm (L) x 229mm (B) x 521mm (H) while the classic Obsidian design is still there. The steel structure is tweaked with a black front panel in brushed aluminum that has slots for four 5.25″ units. The front part of the top has an IO panel with four USB 2.0 ports and a single USB 3.0 port, but also four channel fan controller, firewire and out/inputs for headphones and microphone.

Inside we find more black metal and eight expansion slots. The number of 3.5″ slots are 6 and can also be used for 2.5″ units, e.g. SSD.

The cooling is handled by two large 200mm fans and a single 120mm fan. The roof can also hold a 2x120mm radiator while the motherboard tray has holes for installing the CPU cooler with ease. Corsair points out that the case despite its miditower design has room for even the largest graphics cards. At the same time cable management should not be a problem here.

Corsair Obsidian 650D will be available in stores in April and the price will be around 150€.
