Danish Asetek has presented its latest creation at CeBIT and does it by reintroducing the famous product series WaterChill, this time with the now classic integrated water system. Beside a GPU cooler for NVIDIA GTX 500 the company has presented a CPU cooler with 240mm radiator and four 120mm fans.
WaterChill 2011C can be compared to Corsair Hydro H70, but Asetek focus on a twice as large radiator and twice as many fans. The radiator measures 240x120mm and uses four PWM-controlled fans.
Asetek use a low-profile block for the CPU, like previous models, and bundles the company’s own ChillControl software. Interestingly Asetek is preparing to start selling previous OEM products in retail channels. Price and availability were not revealed.
“Asetek will use the WaterChill brand to showcase its latest liquid cooling technologies and make ultra-extreme products like the WaterChill 2011C available directly to end-users via the Asetek web site. We are excited by the opportunities this will bring us to engage directly with the people who use our cutting edge products.”
Asetek’s new GPU cooler uses a smaller 120x120mm radiator that integrates with NVIDIA’s reference design togethather with a dedicated partner. The exact partner was not revealed, but the cooler will offer up to 25% better overclocking potential than the reference cooler.
