Sandy Bridge-E and there are already 27 motherboards that will appear in stores alongside the processors. Several companies have also designed memories for the new platform, and Corsair offers a whole armada with a wide selection.
Sandy Bridge-E is the world’s first retail processor with support for quad-channel memory that offers unrivaled memory bandwidth. Corsair has now announced no less than twelve different memory kits that can be paired with Sandy Bridge-E, and they are split up into two series.

The Dominator series has handpicked memory circuits for the highest possible clock frequencies and tight timings. It offers two kits at 32 GB each, with quite good timings in relation to clock frequencies since each module weighs in at 8 GB. For overclockers the 16 GB kit is the best alternative though. The Dominator memories sports the patented cooling technology DHX+, and supports Intel XMP 1.3.

Vengeance is Corsair’s cheaper series that doesn’t offer the same impressive specifications. These comes in three colors, black, red and military green, and one of the kits comes with low-profile coolers. Also the Vengeance memories support Intel XMP 1.3, to quickly and easily set BIOS/UEFI with the right settings.
Both series will start shipping immediately and will be in the channels shortly for distributors and retailers. No prices were revealed.
