Cubitek recently showed off its new aluminum series ICE, the company has returned with another case to impress us; the world’s smallest case that supports EATX motherboards. Cubitek Magic AIO uses a combination of aluminum and smart design to keep the dimensions minimal.
Cubitek Magic AIO measures 244 x 498,7 x 477 mm and is thus a bit lower than ATX ICE that launched last week and is actually shallower than both ATX ICE and Micro ICE, where the latter only holds Micro-ATX boards.
Cubitek has managed to move the majority of the storage units from the classic vertical cages to the back of the tray, which makes the case on average 1.5cm wider than its siblings. In total the case houses five 3.5″ units where two fits in the lower front of the case along with a 5.25″ unit and asmaller 2.5″ device. Another three 3.5″ units and one 2.5″ units goes on the back of the motherboard tray.
The motherboard occupies the entire vertical space in the top compartment, which makes it possible to install graphics cards up to 360mm in length and the two 140mm fans in the front blows air across the entire board. Another two fans are found in the case, one 140mm in the roof and one 120mm in the back above the expansion slots. In the front we also find four USB ports (two USB 3.0) and gold-plated audio ports.
The power supply can be at most 220mm deep and CPU coolers are limited to 180mm in height, but those who wants to fit a fullsize EATX motherboard in a small case Cubitek Magic Cube AIO might be an interesting choice. The price is at 279 dollar + VAT.
