There is no lack of enthusiast motherboards that is marketed toward overclockers, but the warranties for these doesn’t cover this kind of activity. MSI changes this with the new MPower series and offers overclocking warranty.
MSI MPower is just below XPower in the hierarchy and is known for its black theme with yellow details, like the graphics cards of the Lightning series. What is special about MPower is the new “OC-in-Warranty”, which is just what it sounds like; MSI offers full warranty even if it has been overclocked with. The warranty is still limited to 3 years.

What we find interesting is that MSI benchmark each MPower motherboard before shipping. Each motherboard is tested and certified with an overclocked and water cooled processor for 24 hour burn-in, without any airflow around the voltage circuits.
While it is not too common for a motherboard to fail when overclocking we find it appealing that MSI has decided to cover it in its warranty if it happens. Exactly how the warranty works has not been revealed, or if it also covers extreme exotic cooling like dry ice or liquid nitrogen.
