This year’s E3 seems to be unsually interesting. Both ATi and nVidia has both software and hardware coming up next week. nVidia gets ready to launch it’s NV35 and it’s Detonator FX, ATi on the other hand will launch the 256 MB version of the passivly cooled Radeon 9800 Pro and Catalyst 3.4 together with Sapphire.
To judge from the specifications, NV35 looks very impressive with it’s 450 MHz core and 850 MHz memory with 256 bits memory buss. If the rumours about ATi’s clocking frequencies prove to be true then 9800 Pro 256 MB could be a real performance monster too. 400 Mhz core and 920 MHz memory isn’t bad. But this information is yet to confirm..
