For about a week ago, we reviewed a Western Digital Raptor here at NordicHardware. One of the severe disadvantages was the lacking storage capacity of only 36.7 GB. According to Techworld.com, however, a new Raptor with two discs is soon to be released, providing approximately 72 GB of storage space. Around the next turn of the month, we can count on these 10.000 RPM disks to show up. The reason for the release is that the demands got much higher than Western Digital had expected. The harddrives are selling as a worthy competitor to SCSI.
