Zalman is a company that nowadays is known to most people for its rather extreme yet well-functioning air cooling solutions. However as we all know, there is a limit for what normal air cooling can handle. Thus water cooling is in order to achieve even better performance. To keep its position as one of the best cooling manufacturers around, Zalman has released a water cooled CPU block; the ZM-WB1. Gruntville seems to have found the ZM-WB1 to its liking as it tested the product – holding high regards to the extremely good finish of its base. Using about the same installation methods as the CNPS-7000A, one should be wary of interfering components, missing motherboard holes and the like. Running on the Iceberg II system, the cooler managed to outperform the Iceberg II CPU cooler block itself, proving to be a very capable cooler. Read the whole review here. |
