Anyone that’s ever been hardcore overclocking knows how irritating things get when you have to clear the CMOS. Every setting must be set again, which is both time consuming and patience testing.
DFI now launches CMOS Reloaded, making it possible to save a number of settings profiles that are easy to load. Depending on the mainboard model, it’s possible to save between two and four settings profiles.
When you have a stable OC, just save it, and then you can load it after you have had to clear the CMOS (well, good, cause that happens a lot). Personally, I think it’s a great feature and it was only a matter of time before a manufacturer realized that too.
One can only wonder when other mainboard manufacturers snatch up this idea. Who knows, maybe we’ll see “CMOS Revolutions” from a manufacturer soon?
