Today, we present three news in one. For starters, a preview of a new promising waterblock called AquaJoe from the manufacturer with the same name. The waterblock has some smart details and uses a good, so called pin fin design, making it a good waterblock and also excellent for TECs.
Secondly, this is the first article, with more coming up, written by our crew member Benoit A. Tellier, also known as BigBen2k.
And lastly, the layout of this preview is formatted in a completely new way, and we hope you will enjoy it.
“For those concerned about the aluminum and copper mix: this block was made specifically to avoid any contact between the copper and the aluminum that could scratch the type 2 hard anodizing. There is a small gap between the pins and the top. Also, the aluminum channeling walls don’t touch the copper base: the pin grid has been milled out, side to side, and into the base, to give just enough clearance. You should still use an anti-corrosion agent though, as any mixed metal water cooling loop requires.“ |
