Canadian company All Computer is suing Intel for half a billion dollars for
patent infringement. They claim that Intel have used their technology in the
Pentium II and possibly it’s successors Pentium III & IV.
The patent has to do with that the “Pentium microprocessors infringe on a
patent for circuitry that controls the frequency of signals heading to
microprocessors through a chip set.”
All Computer patented this technology many years ago (read more about the
patent here),
but Intel has chosen not to respond on this matter.
