Battle of the titans: Apple vs Dell at 20″

At Anandtech they’ve taken a closer look at two real titans. Namely Apple’s and Dell’s 20″ LCD-monitors that probably is just a dream to many. The really interesting part is that both uses the same LCD-panel from LG-Philips. With a widescreen panel at 20″ and a resolution of 1680×1050 pixels things are looking pretty good. An even struggle and it is clearly more than the choice of panel that plays a part when choosing LCD-monitor. The final judgement closes the deal is the price difference which bigger than one might expect.
