Small preview imageSamsung has in Korea made a joined ventur with Korea Telecom to offer MP3-players with WLAN-support. Samsung’s next generation of MP3-players will use the Nespot-network in Korea to receive music directly to the player. You will also be able to buy and download music directly to your unit and even create streamed playlists that is then streamed directly to the player. When the players with WLAN will arrive on the market is uncertain but as far as the reast of world goes we don’t really have to worry.

In most place there is no system for streamning through WLAN, but it is starting to be used quite a lot in Korea and perhaps we can look forward to this in a few years. The technology makes it possible to enjoy music with devices with a relatively small storage capacity.
