Sony has been trying to market its next console as much more than just gaming console. Their exact words are “entertainment supercomputer”. Now some mroe information has arrived that tells that PS3 will be a computer in some ways. During an interview with Japanese magazine Impress PC watch Sony Computer Entertainments president Ken Kutaragi revealed that the harddrive you can buy for PS3, since it does not come with one, will have a Linux-based operating system installed. There will be a whole series ofr disks in various sizes, all the way up to 120GB, to meet any gamers needs. Although it’s still quite a long time before the actual launch and we saw already yesterday that Seagate has launched a 160GB 2.5″ disk. As comparison Xbox 360 will have a 20GB harddrive as standard.
