The future of Catalyst

ATi recently released a new Catalyst driver, Catalyst 5.6, that came with a couple of new features for ATi’s users. It seems Catalyst 5.6 is just the tip of the iceberg of ATi’s big Catalyst-campaign that will commence within a few months. At Anandtech they’ve taken a closer look at the future of Catalysts, which without a doubt looks quite interesting. The support for ATi’s SLI-technology Crossfire is of course a big part of this but an even bigger part is the implementing of HDTV which we are really looking forward to.
