Small preview imageMicrosoft and Sony will without a doubt clash at a regular basis the coming year as they both start their PR-campaigns for its respective consoles. The latest one was in Paris where Microsoft had chosen a quite convenient spot to show off an Xbox 360 advertisement. Sony’s french department just opened a new showroom called the “The Factory”. This is located at Place de l’Etoile, Paris, and is meant as a display of the company’s mobile gaming console PSP. As a, the least to say, low blow Microsoft managed to buy some space in the window at the laundry across the street.

There they put up some gigantic Xbox 360 posters that covered the store’s entire window, with the following message: “Gardez vos forces pour cet hiver”. Which means “Save your forces until winter” and it is of course pointing to the launch Xbox 360. The gigantic posters was there for over 24 hours but was later removed when Sony payed the, today very happy, laundry owner even more money.

We pressume that there have been at least three strong emotions circulating the latest couple of days, Microsoft laughing, Sony raging and the laundry owner smiliing politely. It’s all of course a matter of timing, something both Microsoft and teh laundry owner was well aware of. The question is how low will Sony go when Microsoft has its next PR-event.
