Sound Blaster X-Fi is Creative’s latest sound circuit and it seems it has quite big hopes for this circuit that has been developed during teh whole 21st century. Creative has ealier announced X-Fi but now it’s time for the official launch and at the same time it has released information on the four X-Fi cards that will appear in stores near you. As usual it offers a base version called Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic and even if this will be more than enough for most people there are even better products in the series.
The four cards that has been launched are;
:: Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic – $129.99
:: Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum – $199.99
:: Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatal1ty FPS – $279.99
:: Sound Blaster X-Fi Elite Pro $399.99
The difference is that the Platinum-version has support for an internal 5.25″ unit where you can connect various components. other than that it’s the same card as XtremeMusic. Fatal1ty FPS and the Elite Pro-version has, except for another box for connecting components also 64MB RAM integrated on the sound card. This is to offer optimal performance in games and keep the sound quality.
