iPod is going down – According to Microsoft

The head of digital media at Microsoft, Erik Huggers, has in an interview said that Apple’s iPod will get much tougher competition as we close up on the christmas shopping times. But the iPod supporters just say that Microsoft said the exact same thing last year and that Apple just continued to increase its MP3-player sales. Analysts also says that it will be hard to take down Apple and thinks that Microsoft needs to give its official support to a MP3-player series to be able to even touch iPod. In a few months we will know if Microsoft is correct.
