Internet Explorer 7 gets a new icon and logotype

Microsoft has now displayed the new icon that will be used in  future versions of IE and it has kept the base from its earlier IE-icons. According to Tony Chor at IEBlog MS has tried to freshen up the IE-icon with some more modern design and we can’t really complain. This icon will be used by IE 7 for Windows XP and Windows Server, while the Windows Vista-version of IE 7 will have another icon that fits the rest of of its icons better.
