Fujitsu launches big 2.5″-harddrive

Fujitsu is the next harddrivemanufacturer to launch a 2.5″ harddrive with Fujitsu MHV2160BT. The new 2.5″ harddrive works at 4200 RPM and uses the SATA-interface, but the most impressing feature is of course the capacity at 160GB. A very impressive figure for such a small harddrive. Fujitsu claims it has tuned the MHV2160BT in pretty much every possible way, lower power consumption, higher capacity, more durable and less noice. If the harddrive will be able to live up to all this we can’t say we would be confused if desktop users would start using 2.5″ harddrives instead of the 3.5″ versions. Fujitsu MHV2160BT will be available in stores during the fourth quarter of 2005.
