At Hexus they’ve done a report on what is called The Universal 3-D Project. A project that is working for bringing 3-D images to regular consumer applications. This will be achieved by spreading a standardformat for programs that will use 3D-data. Intel is apperently the leading party behind this project that wants to create a 3D-version of the JPEG. It has among other created a 3D Industri Forum, 3DIF.org that has already made big progress. It is going to be very interesting to see what the U3D-format will become and if it will have an impact on tomorrow. :: Read on about Universal 3D (U3D)
