Pentium 4 gets Virtualization Technology

Virtualization Technology, VT, is the name of a technology by Intel that makes it possible to run several operating systems on the same system. Several people will be able to use the same hardware independent of eachother. You simply don’t have to buy a computer for family member. For this to work you of course need a lot of power, the least to say parallel such since many tasks will be done simultanously. Therefor it is no surprise that VT will become one of the big pros with Intel’s coming dual-core processors. But it also seems that single-core processors will inherit this technology, namely Pentium 4. Pentium 4 660 and 670 will be launched with VT soon.
