Nero and KiSS launches high-resolution DVD-player

Nero, known for its multimedia softwares, and KiSS, known for its stationary multimedia players, has now joined up and developed a multimedia player supporting High Definition DVD based on MPEG-4 AVC (Advanced Video Coding) or the ITU-T H.264 format. The player uses Nero Digital AVC codec who according to itself is superior to other AVC-codecs. Nero supplies the software and videoformat while KiSS supplies the hardware which has resulted in the player KiSS DP-700. The companies says it will display its system live at IFA thus year.
