AMD will be head for two more years

AMD and Intel is prehaps the ultimate David and Goliat fight, which only seems to get more staggering as time passes by. Now AMD has claimed that it will be head of Intel from a technical point of view up to about 2007/2008. Further than that is hard to tell according to AMD. It couldn’t see any indications for thatAMD would shrink and at the same time after now, right after IDF, that Intel don’t have anything that can compete with AMD’s current architectures. This despite the fact that Intel introduced a totally new archtecture at IDF. David.. sorry AMD seems to have gone a bit headstrong but then again they do have a few very good architectures backing up its statements.
