Xbox 360 – a chipper’s nightmare

Mod-chipping has become a huge market for today’s game consoles and it has left its mark on the gaming community and the least to say the game developers and manufacturers as well. We could earlier report about information that indicated that Microsoft had done pretty much everything they can to prevent chipping and modding of the Xbox 360. At BBC they’ve publsed a news story where they’ve talked to the reponsible at Microsoft and it seems Xbox 360 will be tough to modify. Microsoft has added hardware protection that is suppose to be extremely advanced.

“There are going to be levels of security in this box that the hacker community has never seen before.”

Even if Microsoft is convinced that Xbox 360 will be hard to master, although they admit that it will probably happen sooner or later though.
