Picture and tests with ATi Crossfire

ATi will in short launch its equivalent to nVidia’s multi-GPU technology SLI and you perhaps know by now it will be called Crossfire. At APC Mag they have, before the official launch, published an article with several pictures and tests with an ATi’s Crossfire-system. They’ve tested two Radeon X850 XT in a Crossfire-configuration and compared the results to a single card setup. Unfortunately they’ve used rather low resolutions which has made the processor and other components the bottleneck. This is of course early pre-release hardware and drivers so ypu should perhaps be able to expect a bit more.
