New circuits from ATi and nVidia raise prices

nVidia has already launched its GeForce 7800 GTX and ATi is on the verge of launching its X1800-series. This together with the fact that Intel has a shortage of chipsets with integrated graphic circuits means that more and more people are looking for high-end graphic cards during the fourth quarter of 2005. The raising demand will most liekyl raise the ASP (Average Selling Price) for graphic cards. ATi also sees the interface Aero Glass in Windows Vista as something that will increase sales of high-end graphic cards. Something both Leadteck and Tul are most happy with as they both have been suffering from big losses lately.
