Forceware 81.26 Beta was launched last week and one of the more interesting features was the support for processors with dual cores. All of those who have invested in dual-core processors should in other words be able to enjoy some “free” performance with these new drivers. This sounds almost to good to be true and at VR-Zone they’ve done some tests to see if these drivers perform differently with dual or single-core processors. The results are a bit mixed, but there seems to be some optimises for dual-core processors in Forceware 81.26 Beta at least.
