Apple has as you know made a great deal with Samsung purchasing its NAND-flashmemory for its iPod Nano. By buying as much as 40% of Samsung’s NAND-flashmemory production it got a discount in the area of 30-50%. This is something many other MP3-player manufacturers has complained about and it seems they were right as the latest reports from iSuppli indicate that 200 smaller Asian manufacturers has gone bankrupt because of the supply of NAND-flashmemory being so low.
