Sony updates PSP with a new firmware: 2.01

We earlier told you how hackers had found a weekness in PSP’s firmware 2.0 which made it possible to run your own software and at the same a program that would make it possible to downgrade your PSP to firmware 1.5. The new firmware doesn’t contain anything new except for a series of security related fixes that will hinder the previous mentioned hacks. This hasn’t been released worldwide yet and is currently only available in Japan.
