nVidia G72 at the start of 2006

nVidia G72 looks to be the first graphic circuit from nVidia built with 90nm process. G70 is the project name for the GeForce 7800-series which has been around for almost six months now and ATi now finally has answered to with the X1800-series. GeForce 7800 uses a 110nm process in difference to ATi who relies on the newer and more effective 90nm technology for its X1000-series. The new technology makes the circuit smaller and nVidia seems to have plans for using this in its plans for launching a series of dual-SLI graphic cards. Similar to the one ASUS has developed with GeForce 7800GT-circuits, a very interesting development if it’s true.
