Small preview imageApple launched iPod Nano and rocked the NAND flash market and now the after shakes are about to hit the very same market. Apple will as you probably know reveal some(?) new products on October 12th and as Steve Jobs has earlier stated that the rumoured iPod Video won’t arrive for quite a while the most probable is an update of Apple’s Power Mac G5 and PowerBook series. However thatrumours have been going around about a NAND Flash-based iPod Video has been enough to push the price of NAND flash memory up with almost 3% over night though.

The increase has come as as several smaller manufacturers have bought huge amounts of NAND memory fearing that the suppply will become even worse if another iPod arrives. Whether we actually get to see a iPod Video on the 12th reamins to see.
