ATi Catalyst 5.10

Catalyst 5.10 is the latest official version of ATi’s driver package for its Radeon-based graphic cards. Catalyst 5.10 arrives after ATi’s massive product launches with both CrossFire and the X1000-series. Interestingly there is support for CrossFire with Catalyst 5.10, but there is still no support for Radeon X1000. This will probably have to wait until Catalyst 5.11 next month. This all feels very weird as graphic cards from the X1000-series is already suppose to be available in stores. Other new features are shortcuts for rotating the screen(landscape or portrait) but also detailed desktop settings for Windows XP Media Center. At TweakTown they’ve tested the new Catalyst 5.10 drivers and they seem to bring some more performance.
