You can’t have missed the fact that we are about to see a new generation of gaming consoles. Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo are all releasing new consoles with all more or less impressive hardware. The current status of these varies a lot but from what we’ve heard so far we can expect some very interesting features from each party. The strategies the companies have chosen when marketing these are very different, but so far things are looking mighty hi-res.
In the first part of our series of articles on the new consoles we’ve chosen to summarize what has happened up until today. What is it that has made Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony the three biggest companies of today. We have seen a lot of companies and consoles pass by during the years. Many have been really good, even great in some cases, but have failed anyway.
