Laptops are selling better than ever and the assortment is tremendous. With la bigger assortment the competition grows, something many laptop-makers are suffering from. To sell more you need a gimmick and of the most popular methods at the moment is using other known brads and associate them with your laptops. Car manufacturers seems to be working very well as we’ve seen Acers Ferrari-series and also reported about how General Motors’ will launch a Hummer-inspired laptop. Now the next exotic car maker is about to become associated with laptops as Intel has teamed up with Lamborghini to make Lamborghini-branded laptops.
The portable Lamborghini will be launched during the first quarter of 2006 and it will be based on Intel’s new Pentium M-processor “Yonah” and the Centrino-platform “Napa”. We dare to guess that the computer will offer competitive performance and hopefully a design to match. Most likely the laptops will only be available through Lamborghini’s online store and at a relatively high price. We hope to get some more information about Intel and Lamborghini’s cooperation soon.
