Samsung 244T and Samsung 214T are the names of Samsungs newly launched LCD-monitors. Samsung presents the two models as feature-filled big-screen monitors, and there is at least nothing wrong about the sizes. 214T is the baby brother, and has a panel sized 21.3″, whilst its big brother 244T is sized at a whopping 24″. The 214T is designed with a 4:3 aspect ratio, with native resolution at 1600×1200, whilst the 244T offers a wide-screen display with the resolution of 1920×1200. The both monitors offers nice contrast ratios, where the 244T has 1000:1, but the 214T is’nt trailing with much; 900:1. Even though the monitors are mainly aiming for companies and professional users, the have pretty decent response-times, 8ms for 214T and 10ms for 244T
Other interesting futures on the monitors are screen-in-screen function and USB-hub on the 244T. According to Samsung, the monitors are on their way to retailers all around the world today, and the recommended prices are $859 and $1699.
