Viewsonic is one of the manufacturers most active in the chase of “worlds fastest LCD-panel”. Something claimed to had already today with the VX-series, with a response time of 3ms. Now ViewSonic further elvated ribs by announcing a new model in the VX-series, VX922, which offers an incredibly low response time of 2ms. The new model is a 19″-panel, has a native resolution of 1280×1024 pixels and a contrast ratio of 650:1. Exactly when the monitor is about to show up on the market is not fully specified, and even though we appreciate low response times, we have to keep propagating for higher resolution-panels.
