Sharp launches 3.5″ display

Sharp has launched a new LCD-display and no it is not a typo as it actually only measures 3.5″. The display is intended for portable units such as smart phones, media players and others units who might need a sharp display. The new display is named LQ035Q7DH06 and offers a resolution at 320×240 pixlar (same as e.g. iPod video). The 3.5″ display can show up to 262 144 colors and has a brightness of 225 cd/m2. Above that the display also has a builtin touch panel. Exactly what units will use Sharp’s nya LCD-display is too early to say but we will most likely see more of this one as especially the portable media player is growing quite fast.
