Apple didn’t just launch a video iPod a few weeks ago, it also extended its iTunes-service with loads of video downloads. Around 2000 music videos and episodes from the TV-shows Desperate Housewifes and Lost was some of the videos that it started to sell on October 12. Already 20 days later iTunes had sold over 1 million videos, which boosted Apple’s stock with 5 percent instantly. Now when Apple has seen that there is a market for downloading videos it will continue by extending its assortment and hope to tie other American TV-stations to its services. Source: Reuters
