USB-units such as external harddrive, USB-memory sticks and digital cameras can of course be shared in a network just as any other folder. But you can also share USB-units on the networks and the Internet for that matter and making it look like a local unit connected to the computer. This would definitely give USB-units an extra area of use as you then can use the same unit for several computers and can access directly in the Eplorer. The software that makes this possible is called USB@anywhere and works with both Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
