Intel’s server plans for 2006

AMD revealed its new server platform Socket F at the Supercomputer show in Seattle recently and according to information AMD’s server armada is looking mighty impressive. Intel is having a tough time on the server market at the moment, where it actually used to be completely dominant, but 2006 doesn’t seem to be any of the better years for the chip giant either. Intel has a lot of things planned for next year though and at The Inquirer they’ce summarized Intel’s server processors which we’ve will see next year.
