The Swedish Performance Championship has started to get some real momentum now. Dennis “iQ” Johansson has had to turn over the second place in the 3DMark 05 category to Mattias “Tuon” Bengtsson, which has managed to score 15824 points with a pair of GeForce7800 GTX 512MB, even though iQ has improved his to 14318, with two GeForce 7800 GT. For our new category some very interesting contestants have signed, where perhaps the best known is the man how is currently leading the 3DMark category, Marcus “Kinc” Hultin. The Percentual Overclocking category is still calm, even though we’ve received a few scores just below 100%, but none above, until today.
The first result over 100% in the Percentual Overclocking category was sent in by Fredrik “Fräd” Kindström, who has managed to push his Celeron D 325 to 5406MHz (113%) using Dry Ice.
Shy of the world record with just 100MHz, but he has no intention of stopping there.
We are still waiting for contributions from the favorites and now as the pressure is starting to rise we hope they can stand it.
