ATI Catalyst dual core optimizations, tests and interview

Catalyst 5.12 closed this year for ATI by introducing the first dual core optimizations for the manufacturer’s Radeon series. At Driverheaven they’ve taken a closer look at ATI’s new drivers to see if there are any noticeable differences with the new Catalyst drivers. They have also taken the time to do an interview with Phil Rogers from ATI who is resonsible for the dual core optimizations which ATI has integrated in Catalyst 5.12. We get it straight from the horse’s mouth that this is just the start of things and that ATI so far has no dual core optimizations for OpenGL, something they are working on though according to Rogers.
