Liquid metal was about to be used with coolers earlier, but in the last minute the company behind the technology backed out. But for both your’s truly, as a chemist, and many of you, our readers, this is a very interesting subject as it is not only a challenge to create such a liquid, suitable to be used for coolers, but also because of the obvious advantages of using liquid metal for coolers, for e.g. graphic cards. PimpRig has from a pure coincidence run into a new, similar prodcut from the relatively young German company Coollaboratory, namely liquid metal cooling paste. An interesting product, the least to say, if it weren’t for the fact that the test results show very little difference from regular cooling pastes, even though your’s truly believes the difference is within the margin of error.
