The Swedish Computer Performance Championship ended last night. As usual we received a lot of sumission in the very last minute, where some of them actually managed to acquire places very high up. None of them where able to threaten the supreme leaders Marcus “Kinc” Hultin and Robert “Crotale” Kilhberg of course, but we did get a new third place in the Percentual Overclocking category and the 3DMark category was rearranged a lot in the top. Pär “Perco” Blomberg had found an old Celeron 266 and had overclocked it to 626MHz which lands him at 136%. Andreas “himura” Johansson also showed that Mobile Celeron is a weapon to be feared with the second best score in the championship’s history: 171%.
Both Hans “gubben@Tech” Westman and last year’s winner Peter “incido” Nilsson managed to score over 17000 points with 3DMark 05 with their 7800TGX systems. Mattias “Tuon” Bengtsson retired after falling from second to third and after some ethic consideration he finally decided that he shouldn’t participate. After some very late submissions from both gubben@Tech and incido we weren’t sure what would happen, but in the end incido had to surrender by only 82 points.
